Corona Update: With 872 fatalities the total cases reach 27,892 ; 1396 cases & 48 deaths reported in last 24 hours
INDIA: Amid the nationwide lockdown, the total number of cases in India continues to grow.At present, the count has reached 27,892. Of these 20,835 are active cases. India recorded 1,396 cases and 48 deaths in the last 24 hours. Overall, 872 deaths have been reported in the country.
With no significant improvement, Maharashtra continues to be the worst-hit state. The Covid-19 cases has risen to 8,068 with 440 new infections; death toll mounts to 342 with 19 more fatalities.
With 230 new cases, Gujarat stands at second place with a total 3,301 cases and 151 deaths.
80 new Covid-19 positive cases (including 23-Guntur, 33-Krishna, 13-Kurnool districts) reported in the last 24 hours in Andhra Pradesh as reported by the State’s health department. The total number of positive cases in the state has risen to 1177.
Prabhu N Singh, DM, Agra reported 10 new Covid-19 positive cases reported in the last 24 hours taking the total number of positive cases in the city to 381. The total cases in Uttar Pradesh has reached the tally of 1868.
