Madhya Pradesh: Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan has returned positive to COVID-19 and is presenting mild symptoms said an official. He has been isolated and is abiding by the norms, it further added.
Taking to this Twitter handle, SS Chauhan informed to take all work virtually for the upcoming days. In the same thread, he further said that he would join the Sant Shiromani Ravidas Jayanti Program virtually.
Madhya Pradesh today recorded 1,760 fresh infections. The death toll climbed to 10,697 with 4 patients succumbing to the virus in the last 24 hours. As per the MOHFW, the active tally stood at 16,929 including 2,799 individuals who tested positive in the last 24 hours. 4,555 recuperations in the last 24 hours took the total recuperations to 10,00,025. Bhopal and Indore the worst-hit cities of the state logged 372 and 155 cases respectively.
