Jhansi: Chhattisgarh chief minister Bhupesh Baghel is in UP campaigning for the party for the past two days. Today, at 12:00 pm he addressed a gathering at the Karbala Maidan. At around 3:00 pm, he would address another gathering at Khaga in Fatehpur. Meanwhile, he held a door-to-door campaign from Shahpur chowki to Alipoor Door.

On Monday, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister and his ministers held a padayatra in Jhansi from Rani Mahal to the Elite crossroads. Hitting the opposition, Baghel tweeted in Hindi which meant- “Amit shah outclassed Yogi in the first and second phases of UP elections. Narendra Modi will deal in the sixth and seventh phases. it remains to be seen whether yogi settles both of them or they settle yogi together.”

Baghel, who is in UP from Sunday began campaigning for the third phase of elections from Govind Nagar seat in Kanpur city. He arrived in Jhansi on Sunday after which he convened with the local business officials at a private hotel. He also held a door-to-door campaign from the Jhansi Nagar assembly campaigning for Rahul Richaria.

Jhansi Nagar, Govind Nagar, Kanpur Cantt are scheduled to undergo polls on February 20th in the third phase. During the third phase of the polls, 59 assembly seats would undergo polls. The state underwent phase 1 on February 10th and the second phase on February 14th. In the second phase, as many as 586 candidates frayed with the seats spread across Saharanpur, Bijnor, Moradabad, Sambhal, Rampur, Amroha, Budaun, Bareilly and Shahjahanpur.
