Raipur: Under the No Ganja campaign being run by SP Trilok Bansal 4 accused involved in smuggling the contraband were nabbed from the Railway station.
Acting on a tip-off, officials from Gaurela police station, engaged a team and initiated a search operation at the train bound from Orrisa to Anuppur via Gaurela. They successfully nabbed the accused who possessed 2 quintals of Ganja. Along with the contraband, the vehicle used in the transport of the illicit drug has also been seized. The seized possessions are being estimated to cost nearly Rs 25 lakhs. A case has been registered under the NDPS Act and the accused are being interrogated for further details of the smuggling.
