Madhya Pradesh: While education authorities are implementing restrictions on offline schooling in view of the alarming surge in coronavirus cases across the country, MP Board Private School Association (MPBSA) on Monday objected to the state govt’s decision to shut down schools till 31st January.
Pressing the reporters on Monday afternoon the association termed this move as ‘unethical’, undemocratic’ and unilateral’. They underscored the loss private school administrations faced due to the untimely pause.
Highlighting that the schools were shut down for 18 months at intervals, Gopal Soni, state vice president of the association said, “There will be a huge loss of operators, teachers, guardians and students which we cannot imagine.” Emphasizing the socio-economic status of the children at private schools, Arun Kharat, general secretary of the association, claimed that students were deprived of this facility( android devices) and were being laid back.
In its recent order issued, the state govt directed all private schools to stop physical classes until further notice. This notice was put forth after the state including several others across the country battled the surge.
