As the crypto industry in India witnessed a boom, a score of bidders has come to the fore to offer services for investors. A cryptocurrency app CryptoWire is launched that would serve as a dedicated index for Indian Investors.

Named IC15, this would be the first index that would monitor the performance of 15 highly traded crypto coins in the world. The launch comes in the backdrop of the recent talk between Crypto personnel and the centre, as the latter tries to regulate the new industry as it unfolds.

CryptoWire, a Mumbai based firm is a unit of crypto statistics provided TickerPlant. Amongst the top-grossing crypto share, the firm would monitor major exchanges in Bitcoin, Etherum, XRP, Bitcoin Cash, Cardano, Litecoin, Binance Coin, Chairlink, Polkadot, Uniswap, Dogecoin, Solana, Terra, Avalanche and Shiba Inu. The firm has constituted a governance committee comprising domain experts, industry practitioners and academicians who would overlook the functioning of the index. The Centre during the winter session of the Parliament was expected to pass the crypto bill named Cryptocurrency and Regulation of Official Digital Currency Bill 2021. However, no such proceeding was recorded in the session this year
