A Pakistani intruder was shot dead near the international border in the Arnia border in Jammu district, Border Security Forces (BSF) confirmed today. BSF troops resorted to firing after detecting the suspicious movements of an intruder in the Molu area of Arnia sector in the early morning hours and opened fire. The news was further confirmed by BSF Jammu through a tweet.

“Alert troops of BSF Jammu fires upon suspicious movement of Pak intruder in Arnia sector of Jammu area opposite Border Pillar No 978”, said the BSF who guards 3,323nkm India-Pakistan border.

Later, Jammu Police also  recovered 3 AK47 rifles, 5 packets of Heroin, 5 pistols, 5 Pistol mags, 7 pistol mags, and 14 AK series ammunition hidden near the sarkanda area near the international border. The news was confirmed through a tweet by BSF Jammu.
