Raipur: 11 BJP members were suspended from the proceedings on the second day of the winter session of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly. Before the start of the proceedings in the house, Speaker Charandas Mahant congratulated all the members on the foundation day of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly. He also said that from next year on December 14th, there will be a holiday in the assembly.

The BJP members were suspended as soon as the proceedings of the house began, leader of opposition Dharamlal Kaushik raised the issue of PM Awas Yojana. He said that 18 lakh houses of PM Awas Yojana have not been found, for this, the government is to blame. At the same time, former CM Raman Singh asked the government that will the government release the amount for 2.4 thousand incomplete houses.

Responding to the questions of the opposition, the departmental minister said that the opposition has wrong information. 2 lakh 74 houses are incomplete, initiatives are being taken to resolve them and the construction will be completed as funds become available. Dissatisfied with the reply of the departmental minister, BJP members created a ruckus in the house and reached the sanctum sanctorum. Following this, all BJP members including Raman Singh were suspended. With this, the proceedings of the house have been adjourned till Wednesday.
