Bhopal: In Madhya Pradesh, before the Panchayat elections (MP Panchayat Election 2021), the exercise of changing the name is going on. Sometimes the names of the station and sometimes the roadways are being changed by the MP government. Now the name of Women Crime Special Cell has been changed to Women Security Branch In this regard, the Home Department, Government of MP has issued orders.
According to the order issued by the Madhya Pradesh Government Home Department, for effective control of women’s harassment and crimes, a women crime special cell was formed under Police Headquarters, which has now been renamed as Women’s Security Wing. This branch has been constituted for the trial of crimes related to women, in which police officers are also women.
Reportedly, another big decision has been taken by the MP Government, under which the Police Commissioner system has been implemented in Indore and Bhopal. Under the police commissioner system, posting orders have been issued for the officers of the Indian Police Service, State Police Service. Makrand Deuskar (IPS) in Bhopal and Harinarayan Chari Mishra (IPS) in Indore has been posted as police commissioners under the police commissioner system.
