Chhattisgarh: The Bhupesh Baghel led govt on September 9th launched a film policy to create an investment climate for the film industry and promote film shooting giving attractive incentives and subsidies. A cabinet meeting chaired by CM Bhupesh Baghel approved the framing of the film policy that aims to develop Chhattisgarh as a hub for film production. As per the policy the govt announced to provide 33 per cent subsidy to production houses venturing regional films while 25 per cent subsidy was earmarked for studios that made films in other languages.
The elated Chollywood industry welcomed this decision by the administration and saw a score of budding production houses surfacing. The administration evisages blooming state culture and progressing socioeconomic development.
One such production house under the label The Art Virus (TAV) on November 12 shot its Mahurat scene and wrapped up their first schedule for the love action-drama web series with budding talents from Chhattisgarh and Mumbai. The web series scheduled to release on OTT platform is planned to be released in two seasons.
Earlier, TAV had called out for auditions for the first season of the flick in the months of July and August. Aspiring artists across the state showcased their mettle, out of which extraordinary candidates were cast for season1.
