Raipur: Police officers and police workers will use CCTV cameras to monitor crime in the city. In Raipur Police Line, Superintendent of Police Prashant Agrawal provided training. During the training, participants learned how to keep the city’s parking system running smoothly by taking action against drivers who violate traffic signals. Along with this, the value of CCTV in terms of crime prevention on the streets was discussed.

SP Prashant Agarwal described Raipur Smart City’s ITMS working style. He also requested that a session be held in the police line to help avoid cyber-related crimes. Employees of Raipur who have been promoted (from constable to head constable to assistant sub-inspector) have received training in PT parade as well as a police regulation, IPC, and CrPC in respect of matters relating to police legislation. Raipur Smart City’s ITMS CCTV control room’s working style was described by information technology engineers. According to the engineer, ITMS is quite helpful in preventing traffic offences.

SP explained the value of ITMS in this training programme, emphasising the importance of making ITMS training mandatory for all training officers and employees, as well as maximising the use of ITMS technology in crime prevention. Deputy Superintendent of Police Traffic Raipur Satish Kumar Thakur, Defense Inspector Vaibhav Mishra, and Technical Branch Head of L&T Company Vinay Madhukar were among those who attended the course.
