California: One of the most popular brands across the world, Apple has just announced a new, cheaper iPhone model, marking the first time it has launched a new phone without one of its glitzy in-person events as most of the country remains under lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The new, second-generation iPhone SE carries the same name as the original iPhone SE that launched in 2016. It’s the initial cost is starting from $399 and pre-orders begin on Friday, and arrives by April 24 (US).

The company has given the iPhone 11 series processor in the iPhone SE. It is currently launched in three variants 64GB, 128GB and 256GB. Talking about the features, the phone has a 4.7-inch Retina HD display.

The design of the phone is largely similar to the iPhone 8. It works on the software of the iPhone 11 series and has Apple’s A13 Bionic chip, which you can see in the latest iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro models. This shows that the company has not compromised on its performance.
