Pune: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will be honoured with ‘Samta Puraskar’ by Akhil Bharatiya Mahatma Phule Samta Parishad on November 28th. Under the guidance of the National President of the Council Chhagan Bhujbal, he will be presented with Rs 1 lakh, Phule turban, honorary shawl and memento. This program will be organized at Samta Bhoomi, Phule Wada, Pune. 

A large number of dignitaries from various social and political fields as well as office-bearers of Samta Parishad and Samta Sainik from across the state will be present on the occasion. On the occasion of Mahatma Phule death anniversary, Samta Diwas, ‘Mahatma Phule Samta Puraskar’ is given annually by All India Mahatma Phule Samta Parishad to persons who have achieved remarkable achievements in various fields like social, political, literature, journalism. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has been selected for this year’s award. 

During his tenure, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has taken very important decisions to provide justice to the neglected sections of society. Chhattisgarh is the first state in the country to start an independent census of OBCs and its successful implementation is being done by CM Baghel. He developed the social legacy of Mahatma Jotirao Phule through his work along with his political career. In recognition of his extraordinary work, he is being honoured with the prestigious ‘Samata Puraskar’ for the year 2021 by All India Mahatma Phule Samta Parishad.
