Raipur: In the state of Chhattisgarh, a new program has been launched for the wellbeing of the teachers. Under this scheme, the state education department has reduced the desired experience for promotion from five years to three years. Dilip Sahu, District President of the Chhattisgarh Teachers Association Balod, welcomed the decision and praised the govt.

In a recent meeting of the Council of Ministers, the Bhupesh Baghel government made a big announcement for academicians by relaxing the provision of promotion in the teacher cadre. It has been agreed to offer promotion to the roles of head reader, primary school, teacher, and lecturer on the basis of 3 years experience, reducing the experience requirement of 5 years as stated in the departmental recruiting regulations.

According to Sahu, 5072 assistant teachers of the LB cadre in Raipur division, 4690 in Bilaspur division, 4269 in Durg division, 3648 in Bastar division, and 4032 in Surguja division will be eligible for promotion to the posts of head readers in government primary schools (Chhattisgarh Teacher Promotion). By filling 22 thousand head reader positions in primary schools, the school’s standard grade marks will increase on a nationwide basis.

Teachers in the LB cadre will be eligible for promotion in thousands of positions as a result of this decision. Assistant teacher cadre will be promoted as 22 thousand primary school principal readers.
