Raipur: On the completion of one year of the farmers’ movement, farmers from across the state reached the capital Raipur by tractors and on foot.Beginning their protest from Old Dhamtari Road farmers were stopped near Boriyakhurd by police. The protest demanded enactment of a law on MSP along with repealment of the three farm laws in the Parliament.

Tejram Vidrodi, convenor board member of Chhattisgarh Kisan Mazdoor Federation and secretary of All India Krantikari Kisan Sabha, told that about 9000 farmers from many districts of Chhattisgarh had reached the capital Raipur.

Vidrohi informed that the tractor rally had left for the capital on Thursday from Mainpur in Gariaband district and reached Raipur on Friday. The tractor rally will reach Indoor Stadium Raipur from Siddharth Chowk, Police Line, Budha Talab via Pachpedi Naka where the meeting will take place. Following this, a memorandum was also submitted to Collector Raipur in the name of Prime Minister and Governor.
