Bilaspur: With the release of the program for the Municipality by-election 2021 on behalf of the Chhattisgarh State Election Commission, Raipur, the Model Code of Conduct has become effective in ward number 29 Sanjay Gandhi Nagar, Bilaspur, of Bilaspur Municipal Corporation.
In view of this, District Election Officer Bilaspur and Collector Dr Saransh Mitter have called off all kinds of holidays for officers, government employees , semi-government offices and state government undertakings located in the district headquarters till the end of the municipal by-election 2021. It has been clarified in the order that no officer and employee of the offices located in the district headquarters will go on leave without the permission of the collector and district election officer and will not be able to leave the district headquarters either.
If any officer or employee leave without permission, the concerned district head and head of the office will be responsible. It is to be noted that, there is still a lot of work to be done under the electoral process. In this, the duties of the employees will also be imposed with different types of responsibilities, so that the election process can be conducted smoothly. According to the announcement made by the commission, the voting for the by-election will be held on December 20th.
