Bengaluru: As the deluge subsided in several regions of Bengaluru, Karnataka CM Basavraj Bommai visited Kendriya Vihar in Yelahanka, Bengaluru, and took stock of the waterlogging situation. Hours later, he also had a held a discussion with PM Modi, informed Bommai through his Twitter handle. PM expressed grief over the loss of lives and deep concern over the crop damages. PM assured all possible support from the Centre.
The Met Dept today morning issued a notice informing likelihood of Bengaluru to receive light to moderate showers for the next 48 hours accompanied by thunderstorm over isolated places over Karnataka in the next 24 hours.
