Raipur: The Bollywood actor’s comments on the freedom movement have stirred a row as she claimed Congress is an extension of the British rule and India attained her ‘real freedom’ in 2014, apparently referring to the BJPs reign since 2014. What India got in 1947 was ‘bheek’, the actor had stated. Slamming, her comment Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghelsaid that Kangana Ranaut has insulted the great men of the country. “Those who say that the country has got freedom as alms have insulted personalities who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the country”. Bagel demanded an apology from the actress for her disheartening comments.

Giving information, Congress leader Mohammad Siddiq said that as part of BJP’s hidden agenda to stay in the headlines, Kangana Ranaut has utterly insulted thousands of martyrs who sacrificed their country by calling the country’s freedom “freedom in begging”. Kangana, who humiliated the martyred soldiers in the freedom struggle and sang the glory of the heroes, also twisted the history.
