Corona Breaking: 7 new corona patients found in Katghora Chhattisgarh, State records its highest number tally in a single day

Chhattisgarh: Seven new corona positive case has been confirmed in the district korba, Chhattisgarh. There are 9 active cases of Corona in the state now.

According to sources, all the positive patients are from Katghora in Korba district. Now there is a situation of panic throughout the state and state government are making necessary arrangements to bring them to AIIMS Raipur.

According to the source, all seven new positive cases are related to the Tablighi Jamaat. The patient who tested positive on Wednesday night was also associated with the Jamaat. In the Katghora, the exercise of taking samples of all the people associated with the Jamaat has been intensified.
If these seven new cases are added to previous cases, then a total of 18 cases of Corona positive have been reported in the state so far. However, until earlier, 9 patients were discharged after the report came negative.

Is Chhattisgarh moving towards third stage of Corona-Virus?

With these seven cases found in korba district in a single day, Chhattisgarh may become the next state to enter community transmission. Even though it is being said all the patients were in contact with the youth who was reportedly attended the tablighi jamaat but nonetheless it is a gruesome situation which is indicating community transmission has invaded in Chhattisgarh. Although, it still isn’t clear whether the community transmission has begun or not, but the claims of lock-down extension can be a hint that we are close to this stage.

What is Community Transmission?

A person who has not traveled but got the disease from someone who had is called local transmission, but, if there is a detailed examination of whom the infected person came in contact with and further the details of the person’s contact is traced, and that still doesn’t show anyone who has traveled, that is called community transmission.
