Mumbai: After being denied bail several times, the star kid was visited by his superstar father Shahrukh Khan at the Arthur Prison today morning after Maharashtra govt eased COVID norms on jail visits amidst the pandemic. This was the first meeting of the 23 year old star kid with a family member since his arrest. According to sources, Shahrukh Khan met Aryan for around 20 minutes.
Aryan Khan who was denied bail yesterday by the Special NDPS court was driven back to the Arthur Road Prison where he is lodged since his arrest. The court denied the bail citing the WhatsApp Chat of the accused that appeared to reveal his involvement in ‘illicit drug activities.” Aryan’s Lawyer Shinde, has now moved the Bombay High Court submitting a bail plea. As per the orders issued by the Magistrate earlier, Aryan ends his judicial custody today.
Despite being a star kid, Aryan has been provided no royalty in the prison. However, all the accused of the cruise drug case have been lodged separately for security reasons. Aryan had last spoken to his parents over a brief video call on Friday. The film industry has muted the case, while still several well-wishers like Hrithik Roshan , Farah Khan and Salman Khan from the fraternity have come out in support of SRK and his son.
