New Delhi: The Ministry of Health has released an Algorithm illustrating travel guidelines for international passengers arriving in the country.

As per the new rules, the passengers have been mandated to fill and Self Declaration Form and upload a negative RT-PCR report prior to boarding the flight. All Airlines have been instructed to ensure the availability of the Negative RT –PCR report from the passengers before boarding the flight. For travellers arriving from nations at risk, all fully vaccinated individuals have been directed to monitor themselves for 14 days post-arrival. While that non vaccinated or partially vaccinated will have to undergo a post-arrival COVID test and quarantine for 7 days and re-test on the 8th day and self-monitor for the next one week. The above rules, also apply to passengers arriving from countries that have administered vaccines recognized by WHO and-or-or have recognized the Indian vaccination certificate.

However, for those arriving from non-danger time zones are entitled to Self-monitor for 14 day post-arrival and report to the nearest Health facility or contact National(1075) if develop symptoms during the 14 days self-observation.
