Chhattisgarh: A case of cheating has surfaced in Gariaband District against a group of locals who cheated in the name of famous snack and savoury brand Haldiram Company.
As per the information received the accused had duped a businessman for Rs 5.50 lakh in the name of issuing him a franchise of the famous savoury brand. The victim had lodged a complaint with the police following which a search operation was initiated. The police successfully nabbed two accused from Bilaspur.
Chhattisgarh police from the past few days has been vigorously conducting operations to curb crime in the state and has successfully managed to catch hold of few wanted suspects.
