Raipur: Night curfew for shops has been lifted in Raipur today. The city has witnessed a decline in the coronavirus cases, and therefore, the shops are now allowed to operate even after 10 PM. The administration has lifted the prohibitions after 6 months of implementation.
According to the orders issued by the administration; the Collector and the Raipur District Magistrate’s Office’s order number 797, all shops were ordered to remain closed post 10 PM under the provisions of National Disaster Management Act and Epidemics Act.
Amid the rising coronavirus cases in the city, the administration had ordered a complete lockdown on 9 April 2021. Even after the lockdown was lifted, the Administration issued an order dated 16 July 2021 to declare that all shops must remain closed after 10 PM.
