Raipur: On the occasion of the 60th birthday of CM Baghel, the state NSUI along with the State Congress had hosted several programs. As per the order issued by the State PCC Chief Mohan Markam, a Jan Choupal was held at booth levels across the state.
The state NSUI has pronounced the day as ‘Chhattisgarh Pride day’ as it hosted several programs in honor of the CM. Shramdaan was conducted at 8 am today morning at Raipur Chowk. Following which a race was held in Kushalpur Chowk. The Shaheed Smarak School celebrated the CM’s Birthday at 12 noon. At around 2 pm a cricket tournament is organized in Mana Basti.
At around 10 am in the morning, the municipal corporation presented a demo of the mechanized sweeping machines that would help the state maintain cleaner roads. These machines have been procured from Mumbai Globalize Management LLP Company on a contract of four years. The company would be paid a sum of RS 47crore from the Fifteenth Finance Commission.
The machine was launched by CM Baghel in an inauguration program organized by Raipur Municipal Corporation. The program was presided by State’s Urban Administration and Development, Labour Minister Dr Shiv Kumar Dahria. Agriculture Minister Ravindra Choubey, Lok Sabha MP (Raipur) Sunil Soni, Rajya Sabha MP Chhaya Verma, Mayor Aijaz Dhebar, Raipur (North) MLA Kuldeep Juneja, Raipur (South) MLA Brijmohan Agrawal, Raipur (Rural) MLA Satyanarayan Sharma, RMC Speaker Pramod Dubey and RMC Leader of Opposition Meenal Choubey were amongst the special invitees for the function.
