Uttar Pradesh: In a horrific incident in Subhash Nagar in UP Bareilly district, a woman was murdered by her brother-in-law in front of her 6-year-old daughter. Aakash, the accused has fled the scene but the Bareilly police are in search of him.
After an initial investigation by the police, it has been found that the woman was hit by a grinding tool multiple times by Aakash after which she died. Then he locked her daughter in a room and fled the scene. Investigation of the matter is on and the body has been sent for post mortem.
The Superintendent of Police, Bareilly Ravindra Kumar reached on the spot to investigate the case. He said, “Through the UP 112 helpline, we received information about the incident. We found a body upon reaching the spot. The woman’s daughter revealed that she was killed by her brother-in-law. We communicated with the woman’s husband and other family members about this and they have come to the spot. We have sent the body for postmortem”. A search operation has been launched by the team to nab the culprit.
