Raipur: On the occasion of the 75th Independence Day, a blood donation camp was organised by the 65th Corps Central Reserve Force located at Baradera Camp in Raipur.

Nearly 75 CRPF Jawans portrayed active participation in the camp and donated blood. All of them were awarded certificates as a token of appreciation.

Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Inspector General Sanjay Kumar embraced the need for medical essentials during the pandemic. He cited the crippling situation the nation faced during the second wave and deemed blood donation as an essential initiative for society.

He also informed that the Reserve force was also celebrating Amrit Mahotsav along with the organizing donation camp.

Raipur has opted for a low key celebration for Independence Day this year. Where CM Baghel would unfurl the flag and deliver the message.
