You dont need to crave for your favorite food from a far location any more you can now get it home from Zomato. The online food delivery platform has launched a new feature, called the Limitless Delivery.The new feature allows customers to order food from restaurants located up to 40 kilometres away within their city. The service launched on November 5, is currently available in seven major Indian cities, including Delhi NCR, Mumbai and Kolkata.
A dedicated link under the Explore more section on the homepage is added. Tapping on the link, takes the users ro a list of restaurants available through the feature. It aims to expand restaurant choices for customers who often miss out on their favourite eateries because of distance.
Previously, Zomato primarily displayed restaurants based on their proximity to a customer’s delivery address. With Limitless Delivery, users can now explore the food arena.
Which Cities Have Zomato Limitless Delivery?
The feature is currently available in seven Indian cities:
- Delhi NCR
- Mumbai
- Bengaluru
- Chennai
- Kolkata
- Pune
- Hyderabad
How To Use Zomato’s Limitless Delivery Feature?
Customers can access the feature through a dedicated quick link under the Explore More section on the Zomato app’s homepage. This option displays popular restaurants available through the service.
Users can alternatively, can search for their preferred restaurant directly on the app and place an order through the regular ordering process.
With the new feature, restaurants determined to expand their customer reach and go beyond nearby neighbourhoods.
However, Zomato has not yet clarified whether longer-distance orders will attract additional delivery charges or involve extended waiting times. Customers are advised to check the estimated delivery time and charges before placing an order.
