Deepika Padukone And Ranveer Singh name second daughter ‘Devi’; Share first glimpse on social media

Bollywood couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, who recently welcomed their second daughter, revealed her name on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra. Offfering fans the first glimpse of the newborn through a heartwarming family photograph, the actors introduced their youngest daughter Devi on Tuesday, October 20th.

The photograph features Deepika and Ranveer with their elder daughter, Dua, and the newborn, offering a rare glimpse into their family life. The parents to 2 daughters, Ranveer and Deepika are seen extremely cheerful.

The family dressed in coordinated traditional attire in shades of ivory and gold. Ranveer was seen holding Dua, as she affectionately kisses her baby sister, while Deepika cradles little baby Devi in her arms. The couple welcomed their second daughter on September 19, 2026. They announced her arrival through a post on social media featuring the newborn’s tiny footprints, accompanied by words, Welcome baby girl.

Deepika and Ranveer were married in November 2018 in Lake Como, Italy, and became parents for the first time to their daughter Dua on September 8, 2024. They revealed her name in November that year, explaining that Dua means “a prayer” and describing her as the answer to their prayers.
