Koffee with Karan season 9 premiere to premiere tonight; Karisma Kapoor to do a special appearance

After 22 years and 161 episodes in eight seasons, the ninth and the finale season of Koffee with Karan is all set to begin today. The first episode will be streamed on JioHotstar at 7pm with new episodes being dropped every Wednesday. The upcoming episode is expected to be the show’s finale making the premiere a notable moment for the fans of the long-running celebrity chat show.

Departing from the show’s regular format, the first episode will feature a single celebrity- which will be Salman Khan. However, reports have been making rounds that Karisma Kapoor is expected to make a surprise appearance in the season’s premiere. Details of her cameo remain unclear.

Salman and Karisma share an enigmatic chemistry. The duo have shared the screen for multiple films during their primes. They were reportedly one of the famous onscreen jodis during the 1990s and early 2000s. The two first shared screen space in Jaagruti and Nishchaiy, both released in 1992.

They later went on to work together in Andaz Apna Apna, Chal Mere Bhai, Hum Saath-Saath Hai, Judwaa, Biwi No. 1 and Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge.
