Union minister Amit Shah inaugurated Oct-3, state-level exhibition on the new criminal laws and addressed the Gopalak Sammelan in Bhopal, which is held at the BHEL Dussehra Maidan. The initiatives under the programme included addressing the implementation of the new criminal laws and bolstering Madhya Pradesh’s dairy industry.
Amit Shah visited the exhibition’s 10 sections, which showcased provisions of the new criminal laws, their impact and information on how they are intended to benefit citizens. The implementation of the new law by Madhya Pradesh Police was also showcased.
As a part of this programme, Shah has given 3 pujas and 5 Gopalak Didis with the Sanket letter and handed over sanction letters to the beneficiaries of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Kamdhenu Yojana.
There were also a number of dairy schemes. Home to the headquarters of Classified Milk Cooperatives’ of MP, Shah essentially laid the foundation of a ₹ 255 crore milk processing plant there in the village of Ujjain with an initial capacity to process 3 lakh litres a day. Two units – a product dairy plant with 40,000 litres per day capacity and state-level central dairy lab costing ₹12.42 crore – were inaugurated in Bhopal. Mini Dairy Plant, Shivpuri with a working capacity of ₹6.5 crore was also inaugurated.
The projects are targeted at enhancing the processing and development of dairy facilities in the State. Measures were also announced for financial support to gaushalas, and the dairy cooperative members were given a ₹15.10 crore dividend.
During the event Shah pointed out that Madhya Pradesh government had set an aspiration limit to produce 50 lakh litres of milk each day. He also outlines a plan for the state to be drug-free by December 31st, 2029.
Shah said that the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita incorporates technology solutions like online FIRs, video conferencing and forensic investigation. The new framework is intended to be “time-bounded” in development of criminal justice, he said.
A separate contract was signed with regards to urban forest development with emphasis on increasing the green cover and conserving biodiversity for Bhopal as part of the Morvan project.
