Dr Mohan Yadav, the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the city of New Delhi and briefed the PM on the development initiatives of the state, welfare programmes, investment plans and progress.
At the meeting, Mohan Yadav had requested Prime Minister Modi for joining the proposed Global Investors Summit in Madhya Pradesh in 2027. He also spoke about the various measures being implemented by the state government to set up a conducive ambiance for providing investment facilities, ensuring industrial growth and providing employment opportunities.
The Chief Minister has also updated the Prime Minister on the just launched ‘Mukhyamantri Sugam Parivahan Seva’ in Madhya Pradesh. The service is one of the services adopted by the state government in transport.
Yadav also updated Modi on activities going on in Madhya Pradesh under the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ that started on September 17. It has a very array of campaigns for public involvement, service and welfare activities.
The session also had discussions about overall development and investment plan for the State. Madhya Pradesh is also actively promoting investment in the state in various sectors in recent months with a call to investors in the telecom manufacturing and technology industry. The Centre and the state are also collaborating with each other on the proposed Telecom Manufacturing Zone in Gwalior.
