Dr. Mohan Yadav, the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, will meet teachers and have one-on-one interaction on Teachers’ Day and discuss the education system and the future of students.
The Chief Minister will meet government school teachers directly as well as officials of Education Department at the Sandipani Government Ahilya Ashram Secondary School. He is expected to share about their experiences, thoughts and their recommendations and ways to improve the quality of education.
The interaction will be especially focused on the teachers who are familiar with the younger generation, their new ideas and about the changing perspectives. Yadav is likely to ask their opinion on how these education systems need to be improved to face the challenges of the future.
An important area of discussion shall be on the provision of children with quality education and through this, linking them with values, traditions, culture, patriotism and social responsibility.
The Chief Minister too is expected to give teachers news on their role in creating a better future for children. He’ll hear their proposals and get on the phone with the problems that face education and school administration during the programme.
Mohan Yadav will spend time with school children other than with the teachers. It is expected that he will speak with students, grasp their experiences and connect with students in the programme. The images will also be taken of Minister with the children, with the Chief Minister selfing with the youngsters during the Teachers Day ceremonies.
It is hoped that the programme will emphasize the role of teachers outside of the class. Yadav’s message to the Teachers on this Teachers Day serves to remind them that they are not just teachers of knowledge; they are also teachers of personality and values of the students, and of their future.
