Bollywood: Keeping movie buffers on toes after sharing the captivating announcement of her upcoming film, Vidya Balan shared a teaser for the ‘Sherni’. With an intriguing caption of the teaser, the film has developed extensive curiosity amongst its fans.
Sharing the official teaser she wrote, ” A tigress always knows the way! Ready to hear the Sherni roar? Here’s the official teaser.” The teaser only heightens the mystery about what to expect from Sherni as it comprises just a one-liner by Vidya: “Jangal kitna bhi ghana kyun na ho, sherni apna raasta dhoond hi leti hai (no matter how dense the forest is, a tigress always finds her way).”
The 20-second-long teaser portrays Vidya strolling in a dense jungle with her team. Director Amit Masurkar of Newton fame has cast Vidya as an upright forest officer, striving to strike a balance between mankind and the jungle counterpart. Producer Bhushan Kumar describes Vidya’s character as a never seen before avatar.
The team has sorted its web release via Amazon Prime Video. Along with Vidya, the film boasts of a powerful ensemble cast that includes Sharat Saxena, Mukul Chadda, Vijay Raaz, Ila Arun, Brijendra Kala and Neeraj Kabi.
