Yami Gautam will be featured in next Nayyi Navelli film which is scheduled for release in the theatres on October 16 during the holy occasion of Dussehra.
The movie’s motion poster was unveiled by Amazon MGM Studios on social media that showed the initial look of Yami Gautam’s character. The poster is quite unique in presenting the man as an actor in the form of bride, holding an umbrella over some demon-type figure in the stage background and choking him a little playfully with a piece of cloth.
There’s also a large wheel spinning in the background, and what appear to be a couple of mysterious figures dancing and looking demonic in the way that they’re moving.
In launching the project, the creators of the film declared that Nayyi Navelli was India’s pure own fantasy family entertainer and hinted at the mystery at the core of the movie with the line “Nayyi Navelli Daayan”.
The movie is about a new married woman who comes in unannounced in a poor family with Meerut, brings peace and harmony in midst of the chaos, a subject that was rarely done before.It’s about a newly wed woman who arrives at a chaotic family in Meerut and brings peace and harmony in between. What follows, however, is anything but ordinary as the family’s newfound happiness is marred by her brother-in-law’s suspicion that his “perfection” is just as well as her, a daayan, a witch.
The concept, which they constructed of a family situation, fantasy, mystery and scandal, somehow puts Yami in the middle of this supernatural drama.
Armed with a first-look poster already garnered intrigue, and a Dussehra release date, Nayyi Navelli promises a unique experience for the audience.
The film will be another interesting addition that will be coming up in the upcoming list of Yami Gautam too while its release date, October 16, will give it a solid chance to attract the festive audience.
