Sukhbir Singh Badal attacked at Nanded Sahib Gurdwara, unidentified person reportedly targeted SAD Leader

Sukhbir Singh Badal, who is leader of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), was allegedly attacked at a Nanded Sahib gurdwara in Maharashtra on Thursday. Initial reports say that the former Punjab deputy chief minister had been set on fire at the religious site by an unknown person.

Attack Reported at Gurdwara

The event occurred at Takht Hazur Sahib, Nanded, one of the unique Sikh religious places. The nature of the incident, who and why, was not immediately clear.

Officials will investigate what happened and ascertain how the individual got to the SAD leader.
