On Tuesday, while addressing a ‘Kitab Se Kal Tak’ event in Bhopal, the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav emphasized the significance of leadership, artificial intelligence (AI) and value-based education to the students, who form a special cabinet of the school.
The Chief Minister also invited learners of the school’s elected student cabinet to be a part of the event and met them on the platform. He interacted with the students on the roles they play in the school. The students explained the way in which they run their portfolios, like sports, culture, discipline and how they are run through a democratic election process using the EVM application.
Dr Mohan Yadav addressed the gathering and said that he was also a student of the government school and urged the youngsters to make the most of the opportunities at their disposal. He advises them to leverage their AI responsibly to help them in their learning experience, and reminds them of ways they can help people involved in road crashes if possible.
The Chief Minister also spoke about the Indian culture which defines India as Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam or live and let live. He has stated that education should be done not only to create a career but to instill in them moral values and social responsibility.
The School, which was set up in 1958, today has more than 1,800 students from nursery to Class 12 and provides them with facilities like smart classes, computer labs, mathematics labs, library, etc., the school authorities told the Chief Minister. The school has also become nationally and state-recognised for its academic work, as well as environmentally.
