In its fourth quarter, which CEO Tim Cook is calling his “final” earnings call, Apple generated its highest revenue ever for a June quarter with $109.4 billion, up 16% year-over-year, the company has said. The company posted healthy revenue growth in its iPhone, Mac and Services businesses, as well as India, despite the cloud of geopolitical and supply chain concerns.

Apple generated higher revenue in the June quarter in all geographic regions, including the United States, India, China, Japan, Latin America, and Western Europe and Southeast Asia, Cook said. Also, most emerging markets experienced double-digit growth, citing Apple’s expanding footprint around the world, he said.

According to CFO Kevan Parekh, Apple’s installed base of devices in use in the company’s most important product categories and regions hit new record levels in each of these categories and regions. Product revenue of $78.6 billion and service revenue of $30.73 billion enabled the company to generate a healthy gross profit margin of 50%.

The iPhone continued as Apple’s top moneymaker, selling $54.2 billion, as compared to $44.58 billion a year ago. The sales of Macs took an upward swing to $10.35 billion, with the MacBook Neo and MacBook Pro recording sales activity with the Indian market showing rapid growth. Meanwhile, the iPad register of $6.19 billion decreased by a little as it was the only product category that saw a drop compared to a year ago.
