In an emotional post released on Instagram, Dharmendra Pradhan’s daughter has expressed regret over the hardships that students and their families had to deal with in the recent controversy.

She posted the following on Instagram that has reached viral proportions on Facebook, Twitter, and other platforms: “My dad took the job and resigned. She also admitted that she did get some direct messages from students and parents of concerned students, who were affected by the events earlier and expressed concerns about their future.

“My father has taken the responsibility of resigning from his position,” she wrote. There are also obstacles to students, their concerns, and their future that must always be respected, she added. Her father’s choice “brings accountability and trust to public service,” she said in her post.

She also heartily apologized to students and their parents who were affected by the controversy. “I sincerely apologize to all the students and their families who have been affected, the pain, disappointment, and frustration caused by these events,” the post read. The message ended with her prayers for the better future of the students and the goodbye ‘Jai Hind’.

The Instagram Story quickly went viral online as users took to social media to share screenshots of the story. The post is the latest in a series after Dharmendra Pradhan resigned from his ministerial post amid rocketing criticism on the issue of the exams controversy. Though the message has resonated in many ways online, it is being interpreted as a personal expression from his daughter and not a statement.
