Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) representative Ashutosh Ranka on Friday stated that the ongoing protest at Jantar Mantar will persist until Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan tenders his resignation.

Addressing the media, CJP representative shared the schedule for high-level deliberations and upcoming media briefings related to the ongoing protest.”There is a meeting with JP Nadda Ji at the CCI scheduled for 12:30. As far as we have been told, Jitendra Singh Ji might also be present there. Whatever is discussed will be shared with you all. We have also organised a press conference at 11:00, where we will provide more details,” he told reporters.

Besides, the CJP protesting at the Jantar Mantar have announced a press conference at 11am.

In view of nationwide protest announced by the satirical party, the Delhi metro rail corporation has announced continuation of the closure of the 17 metro stations on Friday from 7:30am. The DMRC citing security reasons decided the closure.

Shortly after Wangchuk broke his fast, CJP chief also took to X thanking hik for his sacrifice, and courage.

Late on Thursday, Sonam Wangchuk admitted at Medanta hospital broke his fast as Union Ministers JP Nadda and Jitendra Singh held a detailed discussion on students concerns and handed him an assurance letter.

Taking to X, Minister Singh said ,” Along with Union Minister for Health Sh@JPNadda Ji, met Shri Sonam Wangchuk Ji at Medanta Hospital, Gurugram, and held a detailed discussion on students’ concerns. Assured a constructive dialogue and positive intervention from the Government, following which Sonam Ji decided to end his fast, he wrote in a post on X”.

Shortly after he broke his fast, PM Modi also took to X, urging Wangchuk to follow doctors advice and regain the weight he lost.
