Iran has publicly displayed its hatred towards America putting up a banner which has potraits of the US President Donald Trump and his family mimicing the coffins of the Iranian supreme leader and slain members of his family. The coffins wrapped in the United States flag had a burning White House in the backdrop featuring Trump and his five children: Ivanka, Don Jr, Eric, Tiffany, and Barron Trump; and the First Lady, Melania Trump.
The banner has a slogan- “Blood for Blood” in Persian. This is not the first time Iran has threatened the US President on a billboard. Earlier, Tehran had put another billboard in Enghelab Square in central Tehran, showing the US president lying in a coffin.
Iran has frequently used the public spaces as a tool to express their rivalry with America. As a part of communication during the war, Tehran has repeatedly since February put up giant billboards reflecting the revolutionary imagery, war memorials and ideological messages in busiest and most visible parts of Tehran.
Tehran’s large murals in Valiasr Square are designed by the Owj Arts and Media Organisation, which is associated with a body tied to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
Conflicts in between Iran and US deepened as America attacked civil infrastructures in Iran. Iran in retaliation has struck US assets in Gulf countries and highlighted ‘no border will be safe’.
Earlier, this week Iran’s Supreme leader Mojtaba Khamenei announced the revenge for his fathers assasination saying, will most certainly be carried out” and that the perpetrators will not die peacefully in their beds”.
