As US intensifies its attacks on Iran, it has warned of ‘Zero hour’. In response to to the seventh night of consecutive attacks Iran’s army said it struck U.S. military targets in Kuwait Qatar, Oman, Syria and Jordan. The Revolutionary guards said countries hosting U.S. forces should expect ‘corresponding responses’ if their territory is used for attacks on the Islamic Republic. It demanded that such nations “activate their civil defence units to protect their citizens and move them away from potential military targets,” stating that their territories are being used as launchpads for aggression against Iran.
In Kuwait, Iranian forces targeted an ammunition depot at the Al-Adiri camp, the headquarters buildings and ammunition depots at the Ali Al-Salem base and several communication bridges. Kuwait’s army wrote on X on Saturday that explosions may be heard as a result of “air defence systems intercepting hostile targets
In Jordan, fuel tanks at the Al-Azraq base were also targeted, the state broadcaster said on Telegram.
State media reported that Iranian army claimed to have targeted an air base in Bahrain used by the United States. Attack drones targeted “aircraft shelters and parking areas, fuel storage tanks of the U.S. military at Sheikh Isa Air Base, as well as several connecting bridges in Bahrain,” the army said, adding that the base in southern Bahrain is “one of the most important operational and logistical centres” for the U.S. military in the region.-
At the Strait of Hormuz , two oil tankers exploded after hitting mines on Saturday. In a statement published by IRNA, the IRGC said, “An hour ago, two oil tankers, which were trying to pass through the minefield south of the Strait of Hormuz by deceptive American intelligence agencies, exploded and caught fire.” IRGC added that they “stopped” four ships trying to transit the narrow yet critical waterway, which was once responsible for transporting roughly a fifth of the world’s oil and gas shipments.
According to Iranian Health ministry, at least 38 have died and more than 400 have been injured across several Iranian provinces in the US attacks targetting civilian infrastructures.
