The investigation into the alleged murder of 45-year-old Neeraj Sharma in Jaipur has taken a new turn after a family member questioned the earlier death of her husband, Vijay Sharma. The fresh allegations follow the arrests of Ayushi Sharma for allegedly orchestrating the murder of her mother in April, three months ago, which was days after she turned 23.
The vehicle, running at high speed, allegedly ran over Neeraj Sharma; the accident occurred in the presence of a group of men at Pratap Nagar in Jaipur. Police suspect that her cousin Balram, who is still missing, was involved in the conspiracy, and Ayushi is behind the murder.
Now, Neeraj’s brother, Rakesh Sharma, has claimed that Vijay Sharma’s death in 2025 was also suspicious and alleged that Ayushi and Balram were involved in that incident as well. He said Balram allegedly tampered with Ayushi and enticed her into a bigger conspiracy against both parents.
Rakesh claimed that Vijay was “on treatment” at private hospitals prior to his death and family members were told just after his condition worsened. He alleged that doctors had said that a number of Vijay’s organs were injured to a great degree before his death, just after his arrival home.
According to the relative, Ayushi had hoped to get the government job of her father after his death on compassionate grounds. However, as she was not a graduate of Class 12, she was instead offered to her mother Neeraj Sharma as her mother needed to secure the family’s food and feed their younger differently-abled brother Ayushi. Rakesh’s decision is said to have caused a feeling of resentment among the family and became one of the causes of this unfortunate series of events in the life of the family.
