After surviving a fall, a wife in Hyderabad allegedly injected her husband with toilet cleaner and killed him. The incident came to the fore on July 1 after the mother-in-law of the lady filed a complaint suspecting her involvement in the death of son who returned from Gulf on June 29th.
As per the complaint, she was unaware that her son had returned home and had no information about the circumstances leading to his death. Suspecting foul play, she expressed doubts about the role of her daughter-in-law. Technical evidences revealed Sandhya was allegedly involved in an extra marital affair with Anil with whom she planned killing her husband Prashanth who become an obstacle to their relationship
“As per technical evidence and the facts that emerged during police investigation, Sandhya (32) had an illicit affair with one Anil (35)., said police. The police on Moday disclosing details of the case said,” a woman in Telangana’s Nizamabad district allegedly killed her husband by injecting toilet cleaner through a cannula while he was undergoing treatment”.
The three accused have been arrested and produced before court and sent into judicial custody. The accused during investigation reportedly confessed to their involvment.
As revealed by the investigators, the duo Sandhya and Anil along with a friend Venkata Sai planned to kill Prashanth. In the first attempt Anil, the alleged lover of Sandhya intoxicated Prasanth during a visit to their home and later pushed him from the terrace. Sustaining injuries, Prasanth survived the fall and was admitted to a government hospital and later shifted to a private hospital where he was injected with the toilet cleaner while he was receiving treatment.
