NTA is scheduled to announce the results of Common University Entrance test (CUET) 2026 on its official portal. The agency however, released the CUET final answer key today in the morning. The final answer key has been prepared after examining objections raised against the provisional answer key. Candidates have been informed that the CUET 2026 results will be based on the final answer key released on the official website.
The CUET UG was conducted from in two batches- From May 11 to 31 and June 6 to 7 2026 across 321 examination centres. The provisional answer key was released just two days after the second batch concluded the exam.
As many as 15,68,867 students appeared for the examination this year. Candidates were offered total of 37 subjects, comprising 13 languages, 23 domain-specific subjects, and one General Aptitude Test (GAT). The CUET UG score will be used by participating universities, including central, state, deemed and private institutions, for undergraduate admissions for the 2026-27 academic session.
The merit list will be drafted by the participating universities and organizations for the Undergraduate admissions. Students can use the CUET UG 2026 scorecard for the admission this year.

In 2025, CUET results were declared in July for the exams held from May 13 to June 4. THe final answer key PDF was released on July 1.
