In a latest move, the Delhi Court has directed the CBI to file its response to an interim bail application moved by NEET UG Paper leak accused Yash Yadav. He had sought 15 days interim bail to reappear for the exam.

The accused as per reports has sought an interim relief to attend the upcoming NEET re-exam scheduled June 21. The federal agency has been granted them time to submit the response by June 12 during the next hearing.

Earlier this month, the court permitted Yadav to access books and study material to prepare for the upcoming examination. It had also sought a clarity from the testing agency whether or not it would allow the accused to attend for the re-exam.

In a separate hearing, the Rouse Avenue court on Tuesday denied bail to Manisha Waghmare, arrested in connection with the NEET UG paper leak case. Manisha was remanded to judicial custody until June 9.

The counsel for Waghmare argued that she is a certified education consultant and it was her job to guide the students to the teachers. It was also submitted that her house has been searched for two days, and no money or question papers have been found. It was also argued that all her devices and bank account details of her and her family members are with CBI and they are going through it.
