Raipur: The Chhattisgarh government on Friday announced Virtual Schooling for students of  Chhattisgarh State Open School. The admission authorities have declared admissions for the academic year 2021-22 to commence in June. 

So far, the Chhattisgarh State Open School provided reading material and permitted students to utilize the study centres following which they appeared for the exam.

However, now the Chhattisgarh State Open School has asserted virtual schooling. Prof. V.K. Goel, Secretary, Chhattisgarh State Open School informed: “admissions for students of classes IX, X, XI, and XII for virtual schooling commence from June 1.”

Chhattisgarh State Open School has prepared the curriculum extracting 30% of the portion from CGBSE. As per the curriculum, class IX will have six subjects which include Mathematics, Science and Social Sciences along with English and two national languages  Hindi, and Sanskrit. While XI and XII students will be allowed to choose their stream from  Arts, Science (Biology or Mathematics), and Commerce.

The student can access the virtual school on virtualschool.cg.nic.in. The web page will have categories like theme-wise learning videos, study materials, assignments, and quizzes. Additionally, a student mentor interaction section will also be provided. The student will be assigned work over the portal following whose completion the students can progress further.
