New Delhi: Results of Class 12 Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) are out. The overall pass percentage has reportedly fallen to 85.20% against the previous year’ 88.39%.
Students can check their results on the official website or the government backed UMNAG digital service platform. To access the provisional marksheet online, candidates need to enter the registered mobile number.
The CBSE Class 12 examinations for the 2025-26 academic session were conducted from February 17 to April 10, 2026. More than 18.5 lakh students appeared during this year’s Class 12 examinations nationwide. The minimum marks as per the CBSE guidelines is 33per cent overall as well as separately in each subject including theory and practical examinations. Students failing to meet the minimum criteria will have to appear for supplementary examinations.
The board this year adopted advanced digital arrangement after increasing the number of schools affiliations to their board nationally. The board completed full online evaluation using scanned answer sheets this year. Teachers are said to have checked answer booklets digitally instead of handling physical copies manually. Officials asserted the reduction in errors while correcting manually during large scale answer checking operation.
The board again avoided publishing any official toppers list during this session. CBSE discontinued topper announcements during the COVID-19 pandemic period earlier nationwide.
