A major update has emerged in the Nashik TCS scandal. Nida Khan, one of the main accused in this forced conversion case, has been sent to 14 days of judicial custody. Given the sensitivity of the matter, the court had remanded Nida Khan to three days of police custody on Friday (May 8). After the expiry of the detention period, Nida was produced in the Nashik Road Court today. It should be noted that Nida Khan’s mobile phone may also reveal many secrets. Nida is accused of sending 171 religious links for brainwashing. AIMIM councilor Matin Patel is also suspected of financial assistance.

While in police custody, the investigation team took Nida Khan to her home and the TCS company, where a spot panchnama was conducted to gather evidence related to the incident. SIT chief Sandeep Mitke has recorded Nida Khan’s online response statement in this case. After four days of intense questioning and investigation, Nida, now in judicial custody, may make many more significant revelations. Meanwhile, all the accused in the case, except Nida Khan, have applied for bail. TCS operations manager Ashwini Chenani has also filed a bail petition in court.

The accused whose bail pleas are scheduled for hearing today include Danish Sheikh, Tausif Attar, Raza Memon, Shahrukh Qureshi, Shafi Sheikh, Asif Ansari, and Ashwini Chenani. The accused face serious charges of sexual assault and hurting religious sentiments. All eyes are now on the court hearing and verdict. Currently, no information has been released regarding the bail of these accused, except Nida.
