Guna: Addressing the Bhumi Pujan ceremony of Adani Group in Guna, Pranav Adani announced the groundbreaking of its new cement plant in the state uplifting the industrial sector of the state. The project, by Adani Cement, will involve an investment of more than ₹1,060 crore and is expected to create around 1,500 direct and indirect jobs.

He said, the project represents a significant step toward accelerating industrial growth and employment generation in Madhya Pradesh. He added that the state has emerged as a strong investment destination under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, driven by improvements in infrastructure, logistics, and industrial facilities under the PM Gati-Shakti vision. The event was attended by Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, Madhya Pradesh ministers, senior government officials, and industry representatives.

Noting MP projected GDP of more than Rs 15 lakh crore in 2025, Pranav Adani reflected economic growth. Referring to the recent project in Shivpuri district, he emphasizes the long term commitment of the company towards regional growth and social development.

The Guna cement grinding unit will be developed in two phases with a total annual production capacity of 40 lakh metric tonnes. Phase One is targeted for commissioning by 2028. The company said the project will focus on maintaining speed, quality, and environmental sustainability during execution. Pranav Adani also said the project would contribute more than ₹6,000 crore to the state treasury over time while boosting local economic activity through transportation, supply chains, small businesses, and service industries in the surrounding region.
