Uttar Pradesh: UP man killed his mother on Sunday afternoon. In what was to be a special day, a son murdered his own mother in UPs Baberu town.
After hearing loud shots in the air to what residents assumed as sounds of gun fire, the police arrived. Primary Investigation revealed the accused shot down his mother Shanti 60 and younger brother 35 for selling their ancestral property.
Responding to media reporters, senior police officer Palas Bansal said they were informed earlier today that a man named Rajkishore Gupta had shot his mother and brother, after which a team was dispersed to the house to check. The duo were said to be declared dead on arrival when they were rushed to the hospital, adding that their bodies were sent for postmortem.
“The forensic team thoroughly checked the crime scene and collected evidence. It appears that the accused’s father sold his ancestral land, which the accused had opposed. This disagreement led to the incident,” the police officer said.
The accused is said to be on the run officers said, mentioning that four search teams were constituted to search for him.
